Faygen Taylor is a young playwright who is eagerly anticipating the production of her first play, and has recently entered into a serious relationship with a man named Jamie. Faygen's best friend, Danielle, has a long history of failed romances, and when Danielle tells Faygen she's found someone new, Faygen expects more of the same until Danielle volunteers that this relationship is different -- this time, she's fallen in love with a woman, and Danielle has decided its time that she openly acknowledged the fact that she's a lesbian. Faygen is more than a bit surprised by this news, and Danielle's sister, Kelly, is outraged, cutting off all ties with her sibling. This news is especially confusing for Faygen -- at a very stressful time in her life, she finds herself dealing with the knowledge that her best friend is a lesbian...and Faygen must come to terms with the fact she's long felt a sexual attraction for her close friend.
