A same-sex couple puts their long-term relationship to the test as they negotiate the mechanics of having a baby in this German comedy. Sandra and Iris are a lesbian couple who have been partners for the past eight years. However, their relationship has hit a rough patch, and Iris thinks that they need something to solidify their commitment, specifically, she wants to have a child. Sandra, an architect who is strongly devoted to her career, isn't so sure that this is a good idea, but Iris is convinced and begins pondering possible sperm donors. One day, Iris has a chance meeting with Antonio, a friendly and good-looking man, and decides he's the right guy for the job. Sandra, however, is initially dubious since Antonio is one of her co-workers, and one she considers a rival. Instead of bringing Sandra and Iris together, the debate over Antonio only widens the rift between them.
